Hush-Hush...Don't Tell (23)
If I told my friend a secret, I wouldn't want him to tell anyone. Some might think that a true friend will keep a secret under all circumstances, no matter what happens. But their is one exception. The only time I would want my friend to tell some one my secret is when it is a emergency situation, and it would save or benefit someone or me if the secret was told. Secrets are meant to be held. So in conclusion a true friend will always keep a secret, but will tell it if it will be for the good.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Especially since I practically said the same thing myself except it was short sweet and to the point.
This is true and I belive that the only reason not to keep a secret is if that person is putting themselves in danger that is when I would have to intervene.
i think you haveto idea down it's to bad that people don't really do that anymore though
